Salewa ALP TRAINER 2 GTX W

A men's alpine hiking and trekking shoe with a suede upper and GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort weather protection.

The Alp Trainer 2 Gore-Tex®, proven in the Monti Pallidi - the Italian Dolomites - is a low-cut, alpine hiking and trekking shoe designed for improved comfort on long hiking days in rough alpine terrain.

Solid Protection

The robust upper made of high-quality suede is equipped with a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane and a 360° rubber rand for additional protection against rocks and scree, offering solid protection.

Full Comfort

Thanks to our proprietary, trademarked 3F system, the shoe adapts to your foot and encloses it protectively. The steel cable provides firm ankle support and lateral stability, while the special Climbing Lacing allows adjustment all the way to the toes to improve performance on the rock. The EVA midsole offers excellent cushioning and excellent comfort for a technical shoe.

Improved Grip and Traction

The SALEWA®-exclusive Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole ensures improved performance and handling in the most varied mountain terrain. Thanks to its special climbing, traction, and braking zones and the grippy and robust lug profile, it also performs well in wet and muddy conditions.

The Alp Trainer 2 Gore-Tex® is a lightweight, very comfortable shoe - simply unpack, put on, and go!
