The Peregrine 72 was developed for athletic skiers who strive for the perfect turn all day long. From hard snow to mixed conditions - the dynamic Peregrine 72 effortlessly switches between short and medium turns, enabling a dynamic riding style. Völkl's 3D-Radius-Sidecut technology and Tailored Carbon Tips form the basis for the ski's versatility and agility. Full ABS sidewalls combined with the Multilayer Woodcore - a mixture of hardwood at the sides and softwood in the middle - ensure direct power transmission and stability. The new integrated MARKER Toolless R-Motion binding system has a decisive influence on the dynamics of the Peregrine 72. The concept, developed in cooperation with binding specialist MARKER, offers a new level of edge grip and power transmission in a tool-free system. The possibility of making extremely fast adjustments without tools makes the system particularly attractive for rental.

Multilayer Woodcore 1:
The sidewall extends into the interior of the ski in the form of directly supported, extremely stable wooden layers on the flanks of the sandwich core. In combination with a more flexible, lighter wood in the middle of the sandwich core, this construction offers numerous advantages: The hardwood content within the sidewall ensures increased power transmission, contributes to better edge grip and supports the edge against external forces. The softwood content in the middle of the ski provides more agility and maneuverability due to its lower weight. The combination of both types of wood over the entire length of the ski contributes to an optimal stiffness distribution of the ski and allows for more precise ski guidance. The construction offers highly athletic skiers a combination of agility and stability, which can also win the crucial hundredths of a second between victory and defeat.

Tailored Carbon Tips:
In the new, tailor-made carbon tips - the Tailored Carbon Tips - the individual carbon fibers are stitched onto a carrier material in this innovative manufacturing process. This allows them to be positioned exactly along the lines of force, which opens up completely new possibilities, especially in the shovel area. This is because it has a decisive influence on the ski's performance. The fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment allow the stiffness, torsion and thus the riding characteristics to be precisely adjusted. This directs the dynamics via the fibers to the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, enable agile tip engagement with less effort and build up energy quickly. Thus, the tailor-made carbon tips achieve a new level in terms of precision, direct tip response and active riding pleasure.

Base P-Tex 4504:
Sintered, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene base with extremely high density. P-Tex 4504 is not only particularly wear-resistant, it also offers the best wax absorption and is extremely fast.
