Discovering Mother Nature on foot is no longer just a great passion for experienced hikers. Mountain hiking has long since established itself as one of the most popular trend sports. No wonder, if you take a look at the fresh design of sporty models like the new RANDIR GTX MID - a modern reinterpretation of classic trekking shoes, which, with its cushioned midsole made of LOWA® DYNAPU®+ and a spoiler-like collar, is also very popular with the younger generation.

The RANDIR GTX MID has a Vibram sole. The Italian sole manufacturer has been one of the leading brands in high-quality soles for many years.
The VIBRAM CORNERSTONE sole has a modern profiled sole design with pronounced tread edges on the lugs, which provide the necessary traction in the forefoot area and grip in the heel area on varying terrain. These good properties are reinforced by the very pronounced heel edge, which enhances the braking effect, especially downhill.

Guaranteed weather protection, even in heavy rain and snow: The RANDIR GTX MID is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane. The innovative technology ensures optimal waterproofing and breathability.

The membrane is reliably waterproof. No matter what adventure you plan, you can rely on GORE-TEX technology to keep your feet comfortably dry.
· High breathability
Designed for optimized breathability, GORE-TEX shoes provide comfortable wear even during intense activities. Water cannot penetrate, while water vapor from inside can escape through the billions of pores of the GORE-TEX membrane.
· Windproof
The GORE-TEX membrane reliably keeps out wind and weather. This makes tours possible in any weather.

Thanks to the two-zone lacing, the RANDIR GTX MID has separately adjustable lacing zones for the forefoot and shaft. This allows the shoe to be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced differently for uphill and downhill walking.

By using large shaft parts, seams and material overlaps are avoided in the RANDIR GTX MID. This reduces potential pressure points, which positively affects wearing comfort.

If the shaft of a hiking boot can be easily bent, the foot can roll better. This saves energy, especially when walking uphill, and provides noticeable comfort. Therefore, LOWA has incorporated a flexible zone and a so-called "Lace Loop" in the area of the instep in the RANDIR GTX MID. This refers to the repositioning of the eyelet and the use of a flexible deep-draw hook, which improves heel fit and facilitates bending.

FOR A LASTING GOOD REBOUND EFFECT

The RANDIR GTX MID uses LOWA DynaPU®+. This is a specially developed foam used for the shoe's midsole. This is largely responsible for the rolling behavior and cushioning of a shoe. The new LOWA DynaPU®+ offers even higher resilience due to its special cell structure, which ensures a better rebound effect for the athlete. Even under continuous stress, this resilience does not lose its performance.

Polyurethane plastic is a foam that has very good cushioning properties. Even if the millions of tiny bubbles are frequently compressed, they still retain their shape and spring back to their original state. This ensures a good rebound effect.
· Good comfort
The special material development is characterized by good cushioning properties, which noticeably increases walking comfort and rolling behavior - even over long distances.
· Lightweight
Polyurethane plastic is a very light foam. This makes the sole stand out for its excellent wearing comfort.
