The X Ultra 5 GORE-TEX is a reliable hiking companion that gives you a feeling of security. The lightweight yet stable shoe performs well both uphill and downhill. Designed for safety and agility on the trails, with a highly durable Matryx® upper and a durable Contagrip® outsole for grip and sure-footedness. The collar is designed for long-lasting comfort.

OUTSOLE
All Terrain Contagrip®: Our All Terrain Contagrip® sole is designed for a variety of surfaces. It offers durability and a secure stride on wet as well as dry or hard surfaces.
MIDSOLE
EnergyCell: A high-performance EVA foam that provides shock absorption.
CHASSIS™
advancedCHASSIS™: Advanced Chassis™ is a molded insert embedded in the outsole. It provides strong lateral support and protection, as well as optimal mobility and flexibility.
UPPER MATERIAL
Matryx®: The high-performance textile comprises individually coated, extremely tensile Kevlar® and technical yarn to ensure abrasion resistance, lightness and breathability.
LINING MATERIAL
Textile lining: A soft, breathable inner lining for extreme comfort.
UPPER CONSTRUCTION
· Lace pocket: Provides easy storage for the Quicklace™ lacing system.
· sensiFIT™: SensiFit™ cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a secure, snug-fitting, and virtually customized fit all around the foot.
· Active Support™: The movable side wings hold the foot in place, adapt to the shape and volume of the foot, and follow its movement.
INSOLE
Molded OrthoLite® insole: The OrthoLite® insole is shaped to conform to the contours of the foot. It offers excellent cushioning, breathability and durability, and improves the comfort and performance of your shoe.
LACING SYSTEM
quickLACE™: Minimalist, strong lace that can be tightened in one pull. Easy to put on and take off.
MEMBRANE
PFC-free GORE-TEX: This ultralight GORE-TEX membrane offers a smaller ecological footprint combined with waterproof performance and reliable breathability. Based on expanded polyethylene (ePE).
SUSTAINABILITY
· PFC-free: To reduce environmental impact, no harmful PFC was used for the water-repellent properties of our shoes. Our waterproof GORE-TEX models are free of PFCec.
· Recycled material: Materials from recycled products, such as PET bottles or material waste
