Care tips:
The sled is a piece of sports equipment and with proper care, it will bring you long-lasting joy.
· Grind steel runners in running direction with grit 40-80.
· The higher the snow temperature, the rougher the surface of the runner.
· After grinding, strip with steel wool 1-2 times in the running direction.
· Never polish!!!
· Base runners and steel runners can be treated with commercially available waxes or pastes.
· After waxing, create a structure with a brush.
· After sledding, wipe the runners dry.
· Do not expose the sled to direct sunlight in the car for extended periods.
· When mounting the steel runners, ensure a 1 mm toe-in.
Proper storage:
· Lightly oil steel runners.
· Wax base runners.
· Store the sled in a dry, cool place.
· Store the sled free-standing or lying down.
· Never lean it against one side or load it with objects.
· Do not store near heaters or similar heat sources.
