Every beginning is difficult. This is especially true for skiing and snowboarding. To make it as easy as possible for children to enter the world of snow, we developed the PIZI. It is super light, extremely robust and offers optimal protection and great comfort. So whether it's sledding, the first ski course or a snowball fight: with the PIZI on their head, children's laughter is guaranteed.

Ceramic Shell
All Alpina helmets manufactured using the Inmold process receive a robust Ceramic Shell. A polycarbonate plate is stretched into the shape of the future helmet under strong heat and pressed onto the Hi-EPS body with high pressure and thermally bonded to it. The Ceramic Shell is characterized by several qualities: It is break- and scratch-resistant, UV-stable and antistatic.
Ergomatic
Proven a hundred thousand times over and used in all Alpina helmets: the buckle with the red push button and multi-stage automatic locking mechanism. Ergomatic can be operated with one hand - the strap can be loosened uphill and tightened downhill - and in the event of a fall, it is not possible for the locking mechanism to open by itself.
Hi-EPS
The inner shell of all Alpina helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). The material has microscopically small air chambers that absorb the forces acting on the helmet during an impact. Hi-EPS ensures optimal protective effect and simultaneously allows for extra-thin wall thicknesses and narrow helmet shapes.
Inmold
In the Inmold production process, the helmet's outer shell made of polycarbonate is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS inner shell of the helmet body under great heat and high pressure. This creates a large-area and inseparable connection between the upper and lower shells. Advantage: The helmet is very light and at the same time extremely stable.
Run System Ergo Snow
The Run System allows the size of all Alpina helmets to be individually adjusted using an easy-to-use dial. Alpina uses the proven Run System Ergo Snow for its ski helmets, a flexible head adjustment system with a central dial. The headband can be tightened or loosened using a rotary mechanism. The large adjustment wheel is made of a non-slip two-component mix and can be operated perfectly with ski gloves.
Y-Clip
A helmet can only provide the best possible protection if it remains in the optimal position during an impact. The adjustment and fixation of the two straps under the ear play a crucial role. The Y-Clip system guarantees millimeter-precise adjustment - in seconds.
