The Nitecore NU53 is another model from the NU series. The NU53 is powered by a permanently installed 21700 type battery with a capacity of 6000mAh.
Improved charging electronics enable a full charge of the battery with up to 16W via the USB-C charging port in just 1 hour. Furthermore, the Nitecore NU53 can be used while charging. For extended runtime, the NU53 can be combined with the Nitecore Carbon Battery™ 6K Extension Kit.
The housing is made of metal and polycarbonate. This mixture results in the low weight. The 32 mm wide headband ensures comfortable wear and optimal weight distribution. The built-in optical sensor abruptly reduces brightness as soon as it detects an obstacle in front of it. This prevents overheating due to unintentional activation.
The Nitecore NU53 features 3 different light sources. The main light is the NiteLab Multi-LED UHE with 8 cores (light color 6000K), for close range 2 High CRI-LEDs (light color 4500K, CRI >90) as well as two red light LEDs.
