Wool meets down - the best of two worlds combined in our DOWNWOOL line.
With the DOWNWOOL 270 JACKET, we present our warmest insulation jacket - developed for extreme conditions, strenuous activities, and humid, cold weather. The innovative DownWool® by Grüezi Bag® filling inside combines 70% down with 30% wool. The result: The wool actively absorbs moisture and helps the down achieve up to 30% more loft - for noticeably more volume and insulation in wet conditions or with heavy perspiration. At the same time, it effectively wicks moisture to the outside and reliably prevents overheating.
The windproof, water-repellent outer material PERTEX® QUANTUM PRO made from 100% recycled polyamide, as well as the two-way adjustable hood, the pre-adjusted cuffs, and the adjustable hem, provide even more weather protection. Recycled wool padding is used on the sides and forearms - for optimal freedom of movement with high thermal performance. Two generous front pockets with soft lining and a practical chest pocket for a phone or valuables complete the sophisticated design of the DOWNWOOL 270 JACKET.
