WHICH BUCKLE DO I NEED?

Side release buckles with one pin replace the buckles found on most backpacks, daypacks, messenger bags, life jackets, bike bags, etc. They have a fixed end and a ladderlock end - the ladderlock allows you to thread a strap through that can then be tightened or loosened.

Side release buckles with two pins are a direct replacement for non-adjustable buckles, often found on dry bag closures and some backpack hip belts. They are not adjustable.
