With a water column of 10,000 millimeters, the material is reliably waterproof: the water column describes the pressure required for water to penetrate the fabric. Nevertheless, the jacket remains extremely breathable at 10,000 g\/m²\/24h: this means that within 24 hours, 10 liters of water vapor per square meter can evaporate – thus, the jacket promises comfortable wear even during strenuous activities.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe design and features of the jacket are geared towards full functionality for alpine hikes and trekking tours: the fully welded seams, waterproof zippers, and durable water-repellent DWR coating reliably protect against moisture and rain, both at the front and on the pockets.
