Aliens Wire D Classic Carabiner
ALIENS WIRE CLASSIC ALU Carabiner. A sport carabiner with a wire gate. It meets the EN12275 standard and can be used in quickdraws or many other applications. Everything is possible, from hanging "flower pots" to "clothes hanger mounts."
It has a dead weight of only approx. 35 g, an "open gate strength" of 10 kN, and a gate opening of 26 mm. We offer the ALIENS WIRE CLASSIC ALU in a bent version, ALIENS WIRE CLASSIC ALU BENT, or in a version with a straight gate, ALIENS WIRE CLASSIC ALU STRAIGHT.
Information on Wire Carabiners:
Whiplash: If the carabiner hits the rock during a fall, there is a possibility that the gate will open due to its inertia. If the carabiner is loaded at this moment, it will only provide a fraction of its strength in the closed state. The lower mass of the wire gate helps to avoid this.
