Like its big brother: the Carapax JR. is inspired by the adult model and thus promises optimal off-road protection for all young mountain bikers. Its light weight, maximum head coverage and long list of features give it an optimal price-performance ratio. The low weight is due to the inmold manufacturing process, in which the outer shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS. This results in a solid surface bond, which is responsible for a very stable construction. The lower edge of the helmet is protected by the additional polycarbonate shell Edge Protect. In addition, the rear and temple areas are pulled further down for the highest possible safety on rough trails. This creates even greater head coverage. Large ventilation openings ensure optimal ventilation, insect screens keep insects away from the head, and the visor guarantees optimal protection in the field of vision. With the Run System Classic, which is combined with the height-adjustable Custom Fit, the bike helmet can be adjusted to the head. Optionally, the Multi-Fit Light taillight can be retrofitted to the Carapax JR. for better visibility.
