On trails strewn with roots or rocks, things often get rough. A full-face helmet offers optimal protection here. The robust chin bar protects the head from below and the side, should the ride be interrupted by an unpleasant dismount over the handlebars. In the best case, this doesn't happen. Then, thanks to the lightweight inmold construction and the fixed visor that protects against sun, mud, and stones, the ROCA is simply comfortable to wear. Two helmet sizes, each with an included pad set, ensure that the ROCA fits every rider. And the Fidlock chin clasp ensures that the ROCA stays securely on your head while shredding - and also during hangouts. In combination with the new Scarabeo MTB, the head is fully protected. Chicken Line is a thing of the past, now it's time to send it!

Airflow Venting
A factor that greatly influences wearing comfort is the helmet's ventilation. The strategically sensible arrangement of the ventilation openings is crucial for optimal ventilation of the interior. Air is specifically directed into the interior, channeled along the head, and can flow out at the rear. The head is thus always pleasantly tempered.
Ceramic Shell
All Alpina helmets manufactured using the inmold process receive a robust Ceramic Shell. A polycarbonate plate is stretched to the shape of the later helmet under high heat and pressed onto the Hi-EPS body with high pressure and thermally bonded to it. The Ceramic Shell is characterized by several qualities: It is break- and scratch-resistant, UV-stable, and antistatic.
Edge Protect
Edge Protect is an additional polycarbonate plate that refines inmold helmets. It covers edges on the underside of the helmet. This protects the Hi-EPS and increases the helmet's longevity.
Hi EPS
The inner shell of all Alpina helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). The material has microscopically small air chambers that absorb the forces acting on the helmet during an impact. Hi-EPS ensures optimal protective effect and at the same time allows for extra-thin wall thicknesses and slim helmet shapes.
Inmold
In the inmold production process, the helmet's outer shell made of polycarbonate is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS inner shell of the helmet body under great heat and high pressure. This creates a large-area and inseparable connection between the upper and lower shells. Advantage: The helmet is very light and at the same time extremely stable.
