Fascia training or fascia massage: BLACKROLL® has the right massage roller for every need. With the MED, we have developed a fascia roller that is significantly softer than the STANDARD fascia roller. Thus, the massage roller is not only suitable for beginners, but also for people with particularly sensitive pain who want to perform fascia training as gently and pain-free as possible.

 

The softer material of the MED (20 percent softer than the STANDARD) offers a great advantage for beginners, but also for people who are extremely sensitive to pain. Due to the lower hardness, fascia massage with the MED is significantly more pleasant than with the STANDARD fascia roller.

 

In contrast to the STANDARD, the soft, environmentally friendly material of the MED exerts a very gentle pressure on the tissue. The massage is therefore less intensive, and the muscles are massaged particularly gently. For this reason, the MED fascia roller is also particularly suitable for gentle use in the therapeutic field.

 

Self-massage with the MED fascia roller

 

Since the MED is significantly softer than the STANDARD fascia roller, self-treatment is also easier. With the MED, you can gently release fascial adhesions as well as tension to improve the mobility and performance of your muscles. If you perform self-massage regularly, misalignments can be regulated and postural damage can be prevented. By targeting the roller, you stimulate the regeneration of your muscles, so that tension and fascial adhesions cannot even arise.

 

Fascia training with high effectiveness

 

As with all BLACKROLL® fascia rollers, you can also vary the intensity of treatment with the MED: Play with your body weight to make the massage a little stronger or less intense. The exercises with the BLACKROLL® MED are not only incredibly simple and effective – they are also fun. The training only takes a few minutes a day, so you can use the massage roller in between. Correct execution of the exercises should always be at the forefront to avoid injuring the muscles.

 

The positive effect of self-massage is noticeable after only a few applications. Fascia massage stimulates blood circulation in the tissue, so your muscles are significantly more relaxed. Misalignments are compensated. In addition, you can improve the mobility of your muscles. To make training as varied as possible, you can use the MED on the floor, on the wall, and on the table to massage your muscles with gentle movements.

 

Please note: Since the MED is softer than the STANDARD, you should not perform standing balance exercises on the roller. We also recommend the MED only up to 75 kg body weight. 

 

By the way: The MED fascia roller is also available as MED 45. This is 15 cm longer than the MED, which is why it also offers a larger contact and massage surface. If you want to use the MED fascia roller not only for fascia massage, but also as a functional training device, you should use our STANDARD fascia roller. This is harder than the MED and therefore better suited for training.
