By selecting balanced materials, optimized cutting and minimal material consumption, as well as reducing it to essential features, a particularly light yet very stable cycling backpack has been created, offering an excellent weight-to-comfort ratio.
COMFORTABLE HOLD THANKS TO BIKE-SPECIFIC BACK SYSTEM
The airy Airstripes back system guarantees good ventilation for the back and fits snugly against the body even on sporty trails. In addition, the chest strap with a new one-hand operable chest strap buckle and the mesh hip fins keep the pack optimally in position, even when things get rough.
CLEAR STANCE THANKS TO RESOURCE-SAVING PRODUCTION
Thanks to the bluesign® certified main material made from 100% recycled fabrics and 100% environmentally friendly, resource-saving components, the backpack meets the highest standards, is also climate-neutral, PFC-free, and thus makes a clear statement in terms of sustainability.
3D AirMesh-lined shoulder straps. Anatomically shaped, they guarantee comfortable freedom of movement. The chest strap further secures the fit.
Breathable mesh wings on the hip belt stabilize the load.
Two contoured layers of nubbed foam with AirMesh lining and minimal back contact ensure maximum air circulation.
Flexible aluminum stays within the foam profile can be bent to precisely adapt to the back. (Bike I, Superbike and Trans Alpine).
PFAS FREE
This deuter product is free of per- & polyfluorinated chemicals. Deuter thus reduces the use of environmentally harmful substances that pollute the environment and health.
PFAS is used, among other things, as a coating for rain protection because it has water, dirt, and grease-repellent properties.
Instead, Deuter now uses DWR (Durable Water Repellency) impregnation that is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.
FABRIC MADE FROM 100% RECYCLED PET
This model was made from recycled materials, specifically PET bottles. All PET bottles were previously part of the consumption cycle.
CLIMATE-NEUTRAL PRODUCT
By increasingly using materials and technologies with a lower CO2 footprint in our collections, we are working long-term to maximally reduce our CO2 footprint. However, even with the greatest efforts, we cannot make a product completely climate-neutral. Everything that we cannot yet reduce in our products today, we want to compensate for in cooperation with Climate Partner. In the future, when purchasing a climate-neutral Deuter product, the amount of emissions released during the production and transport of the product will be offset through voluntary compensation and specifically invested in a selected social and climate protection project.
