HanWag Men's Tatra Light Wide GTX Mountain Hiking Boots
The Hanwag Tatra Light Wide GTX are very light and flexible trekking boots for your athletic hikes with a light daypack. This fit variant is built on the "Hanwag Wide Last," which is wide in the forefoot, offering you plenty of space in the ball of the foot. This version is therefore ideal for you if you often experience unpleasant pressure pain or chafing in that area with standard-sized mountaineering boots.
Nevertheless, the technically high-quality mountain hiking boot provides protection and comfort with details such as the durable upper material and the waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex® lining. Other model-specific features such as the ergonomic shaft geometry and the highly flexible shaft transition due to the Lateral Flex System support a natural and dynamic stride. Consequently, the rather flexible sole construction is relatively flat, especially in the heel area, thus offering a very neutral, close-to-the-ground foot position.
Based on the precise yet comfortable wide fit, you can optimally adjust to your individual foot shape using the two-zone lacing and achieve a slip-free fit in all situations.
Even when you're moving fast, you'll benefit from the pleasantly cushioning midsole of the Tatra Light Wide GTX on extended day tours. Thanks to 3D Prism Base technology, the tread of the Vibram® Integral Light outsole is both reliably grippy and sensationally light.
