Aequilibrium ST GTX is a lightweight mountaineering boot for technical excursions, ideal for via ferrata, trekking, glacier crossings, and varied terrain. Maximum comfort thanks to the tongue with an integrated bellows construction and the soft snow gaiter on the protective collar. Excellent walking characteristics due to the innovative Double Heel™ heel construction: The very pronounced geometry with a dual heel construction improves braking performance when descending and allows for a smoother rolling motion, thus protecting the muscles. + Durability and lightness harmonize perfectly thanks to the new sole/midsole unit with external Rubber Guard™ shell construction and internal foam for more cushioning and lightness due to fewer rubber layers. The shape is ergonomic: enveloping and precise, with integrated TPU shells at the toe and heel and for reinforcing the upper. The 3D Flex System Evo™ rotation with a shaped ankle and abrasion-resistant protection allows for better foothold control and perfect ankle mobility. The gaiter for the lacing at the tip protects against abrasion. The midsole is compatible with semi-automatic crampons, the Vibram® SpringLug Tech outsole with Impact Brake System lugs ensures better adaptation to hard rock surfaces.
