The Leki Helicon is a two-piece telescopic pole made of aluminum. It has a good adjustment range and can be reliably secured with the Speed Lock + mechanism. The grip extension is a useful detail, especially on steep ascents, and the snow basket also impresses with well-thought-out details: two straight edges are used to open ski bindings and to scrape snow from ski skins.
The Helikon offers a good compromise between weight and stability, making it perfect for ski tourers and snowshoe hikers.
