The Wildfire 2 GTX W Shoe from Salewa is a waterproof and breathable approach shoe for women, specially developed for fast ascents in the mountains and good climbing performance. This technical approach shoe is ideal for fast ascents and technical alpine climbing in the Dolomites.
Technical Details
The Wildfire 2 GTX W Shoe features various technologies that ensure comfort, functionality, and safety. The 3F system with Kevlar laces provides a precise fit, flexibility, and secure ankle and heel hold. The Climbing Lacing system allows for individual lacing down to the toes for optimal support. The MFF+ footbed ensures individual adjustment of the footbed.
Material and Sole
The upper material of the Wildfire 2 GTX W Shoe consists of breathable mesh fabric made from recycled Kevlar® Cables Cage and is equipped with a protective TPU rand. The waterproof GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane offers reliable weather protection. The outsole of the shoe is made of Pomoca Speed Mtn, which offers a climbing zone in the toe area and allows good performance on small rock ledges. The S-Path technology ensures a natural roll-off, while the POMOCA rubber provides good grip on dry and wet rock.
